Without a doubt the A6M2B Mit. Zero fighter was the most famous Japanese single seat fighter of WWII and of all time. The 925 hp A6M2B flew on January 18, 1940. Later improvements raised the horsepower to 1,130 - good for 326 mph. A6's had 2-20 mm cannons in the wings and 3-13.2 mm machine guns and 2-132lb rockets.
