Series 393: 0-6-0 TANK SWITCHER
Designed for yard work, a typical cut for a 0-6-0 was about six cars. (Mantua’s will pull considerably more than six cars) even when at work, this engine was waiting more of the time than it actually was working. It had a small firebox, coal bunker behind the cap and a large wrap- around tank for water.
